I don’t use all of the colors available from most smart lights, but I do like bright cool white light during the day and nice warm white light in the evening. When the back of the desk was close to a white wall, I had a pair of Govee Flow Plus light bars mounted behind the monitors. The light reflected off the wall, providing really nice background light. That doesn't work now that the back of the desk is not close to a wall. Now, for ambient lighting in the evening, I have six Taysing LED mini indoor spotlights on a smart plug. They’re pointed at the wall, ceiling, and desktop and provide just the right amount of warm background light.

With a few exceptions, most ergonomic keyboards will work with PCs or Macs as a standard typing input, but the use of function and hot keys may require some remapping. It can be as easy as an onboard switch to toggle between Mac and PC layouts, or as involved as downloading software to change up the keys. Some boards even include (or let you buy) extra keycaps to change, say, the Mac’s Command and Option keys to PC’s Start and Alt buttons. Those are what's called hot-swappable keys, meaning you just pull the old key off (usually with a provided key puller) and stick the new one on, no soldering required.

To test this I built gitgres, about 2,000 lines of C implementing the libgit2 git_odb_backend and git_refdb_backend interfaces against Postgres through libpq, plus roughly 200 lines of PL/pgSQL for the storage functions. libgit2 handles pack negotiation, delta resolution, ref advertisement, and the transport protocol while the backend reads and writes against the two tables, and a git remote helper (git-remote-gitgres) lets you add a Postgres-backed remote to any repo and push or clone with a normal git client that has no idea it’s talking to a database. There’s a Dockerfile in the repo if you want to try it out without building libgit2 and libpq from source.
